Well, for once, the dumb-ass who always has to deride others, no matter what (like that's productive...) by pretending they are some kind of 'gate keeper for the libertarian philosophy' bit their tongue by-and-large, but had to add something stoopid at the end. Let me educate the fool:

I don't say "legalize" drugs, because that would suggest that somebody has the legitimate authority to "il-legalize" them. To de-criminalize them means govt. has no say in their use what-so-ever. And that's the way it should be.

It would be nice (aka 'Mike Ross'--why do you hide your identity?) if you could, for once keep your mouth shut, or even try to encourage a productive return to freedom for the individual...that IS your goal, isn't it? Or are you really a shill or agent provocateur?

Repeal the income tax and abolish the IRS

We call for the repeal of the income tax, the abolishment of the Internal Revenue Service and all federal programs not required under the US Constitution. We oppose any legal requirements forcing employers to serve as tax collectors. Government should not incur debt, which burdens future generations without their consent. We support the passage of a “Balanced Budget Amendment” to the US Constitution, provided that the budget is balanced exclusively by cutting expenditures, not raising taxes.

Repeal all income taxes, & the 16th Amendment

We recognize the right of any individual to challenge the payment of taxes on moral, religious, legal, or constitutional grounds; oppose all personal and corporate income taxation; support the repeal of the 16th Amendment, and oppose any increase in existing tax rates and the imposition of any new taxes; support the eventual repeal of all taxation; and support a declaration of unconditional amnesty for all those individuals who have been convicted of, or who now stand accused of, tax resistance.

Libertarian Platform on Drugs

  • Repeal all drug laws creating “crimes” without victims.

Repeal all drug laws creating “crimes” without victims

We support the protections provided by the Fourth Amendment to be secure in our persons, homes, and property. Only actions that infringe on the rights of others can properly be termed crimes. We favor the repeal of all laws creating “crimes” without victims, such as the use of drugs for medicinal or recreational purposes.

The war on drugs threatens individual liberties

The War on Drugs is a threat to individual liberty and domestic order; furthermore, it has provided a rationale by which the power of the state has been expanded to restrict our privacy. We condemn the use of “profiles” as sufficient to satisfy the probable cause requirement of the Fourth Amendment, the use of “civil asset forfeiture” to reduce the standard of proof historically borne by government in prosecutions, and the use of military forces for civilian law enforcement.
